Last week I found out I made the Yelp Elite Squad again. Yay?
So so psyched as I made it late last year and now this year, two years in a row. All this awesomeness has happened since I started blogging on Yelp in July 2017.
How time flies and what fun it’s been. I’m so thankful for Yelp because I’ve had the opportunity to discover so many new places and explore a ton of new experiences because of Yelp.
Yelp has literally become my favorite social media platform and the only platform that I actively obsessively participate in each and every day. I’m religious about it.
Starting 2018 as an Elite Yelper makes it such a magical time of year.
Thank you Yelp for honoring me and making me part of the 2018 Yelp Elite Squad!
Excited that I’ve earned a spot on this incredible team again by being recognized as an ELITE Yelper on one of the world’s BEST online review sites, vetting restaurants, hotels, services etc…
If I sound crazy happy it’s because I am…about blogging, eating, reviewing and meeting incredible people.
I’m insanely passionate about Yelp because you can build an amazing brand presence by simply making it part of your daily life.
It’s a pretty cool platform to build your personal brand because you’re just doing what you do every day and that’s to inform, educate and refer your family and friends to what you believe is the best of the best.
Just started on this platform last July and I’m on track to hit over 500,000 people reading my reviews in the next few months.
Over 500,000 people?
That to me is just mind boggling.
While I do this for free and out of passion the best part about this experience is that I have gotten to meet and spend time with the most amazing people…chefs, restauranteurs and cool business owners who take pride in sharing their food, specialties and businesses with me.
I have to admit it’s pretty fun to get to see the behind the scenes look and get to know some of these creative geniuses who can express their passion through their food.
While I am a big believer in sharing videos and live broadcasts on social media, the power behind the written word is amazing because we all know that words live on forever in the online space as something you can point to and that words have the ability to make an immediate impact on our behavior and how we choose food, products to buy, businesses to support and people to work with.
Like I said there’s something magical about the written word and Yelping…
Thank you my Yelp family and everyone reading my reviews and connecting. I so appreciate you all.
See you on Yelp everyone.
